Sharp intakes of breath, perspiring foreheads and eyes that refuse to blink and yes, after a really long time, it isn’t a gadget or a car or a cool new software or an app that’s doing this. She’s MEGAN FOX folks and I am in love all over again, like a five year old kid with a candy bar, like a the Joker with a can of gasoline, like me!
Anyway, take a look at the video . . . . P.S: It is slightly N.S.F.W (Not Safe For Work)
Well, I was at the airport waiting for mom to arrive and the bookstore is always something I end up in, at the airpot. . . . Can’t remember if it is Oddessey or some other store though . . . . . . Anyway, this time’s walk around the aisles yielded some interesting reading material, including a book I have been searching for, from a long time.

For some, old news . . . For those who haven’t heard, Microsoft Office’s next edition’s screenshots have been leaked out. Most of the sites, I have been on have indicated that Microsoft Legal has contacted them and asked them to remove the screenshots. So, I won’t be able to post the screenshots themselves, however here are things I noticed in from the screenshots, I am posting the hyperlink to where they are, at the end of this post.
1) Exchange server users should find full integrations between Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Communicator (Already a part of 2K7). One of the screenshots shows voice mail sent as an email with the voice mail clip enclosed via an embedded Windows Media Player and additionally, the body of the email itself shows the presence states of the sender and recepient, same as you would notice in today’s Outlook.
2) Microsoft plans on releasing 32 Bit and 64Bit Editions. So, that makes it a whole lot confusing and tougher for OEMs because, now they have to deal with twice the number of possible configurations. (I can imagine how my workplace will be, when this happens)
3) The taskpane shows options such as Team Email, To Manager, Team Meeting etc. So, I am guessing two things would happen. One obviously the above as in point 1. Second Identity Managers automatically integrated into Outlook and allow automated task management. This however creates a problem for people like me. My peers and I form a support team and we work individually with seperate groups of people. So, this means, we all belong to two primary distribution lists. One that is a set of my peers and the second that comprises the group I work with. Question is, which distribution list would become default for people like me, for the Team Email and Team Meeting options. Also, will Outlook allow selecting the team manually, or would it be a default team based on Identity Management?
4) I didn’t see the Office File / Orb on any of the screenshots. However one of the screenshots shows a vertical taskpane with the options, so I am guessing, it acts more like a hidden pane that appears on demand with the necessary options. With larger size for the taskpane, it means File Options can be easily refined and setup.
Obviously the screenshots are what people want to take a look. So, go HERE
Comics are something that hold your attention. You could be a 5 year old kid or a 50 year old something, there is always something about a comic book that holds your attention. A dream world that is as close to reality as it can be. What is even more captivating is the skill with which the art is hand drawn. It is not just a skill, it’s an art.
I’ll take an example out Dark House Comics publication, Aliens…. The above pane is straight from their site. You can see the 4 stages of getting a single panel created. The Pencils, that define the outline of the pane. The inks that give them dimension, the colors that bring them to life and finally the lettering that tells us the story.
You can head out HERE for a better view of the work and how it is done. At the same time you can also browse through the site and catch glimpses of other work. the eComics section is something you should see an so is the Animations section.
Often people here the word Manga and wonder. A Manga is a modern style Japaneese comic, drawn the traditional style of multiple panes, that are read right to left. For the purpose of western audience, when a manga is translated, they translate the language first and then the entire page is reversed or mirrored, so it can be read left to right. This method is called Flopping. Some notable exceptions are Blade of the Immortal, where Hiroaki Samura asked Dark Horse Comics not to reverse the comic, so they used the unusual method of cutting up the panels and rearranging them on the page in order to have the action flow from left to right.
Notebook travel bags, especially mutli-compartment bags that let you hold more stuff neatly, always hold my eye. I’ve seen a lot of notebook bags that have pockets for all kinds of stuff, but most of them are bulky and wide. This one, fits the bill with one of the sleekest designs, I have seen in a long time. Nice!
For a few initial minutes I was concerned that the retaining straps in the upper section were too delicate and that they would either sag or worse still snap off during usage. However, Cocoon’s product design indicates they thought about it too, before we did and reinforced the edges and stiffened the bands.
Well, here we go… An interesting bit of information that makes Windows Seven easier to adopt. The Starter Edition was either meant for Netbooks across the globe or specifically as an OEM Edition offering in Emerging Markets. However, the bright news, is Microsoft has decided to drop a application usage limit it had previously announced. While earlier there was a three application per desktop, per login limit, Microsoft has decided to allow users the freedom of usage. . . . . i.e. as many application windows as wanted. . . . .
The other update being that Microsoft has also updated it’s specifications for Netbooks… Unlike your regular Minimum Requirements, this time around it is a Maximum Requirement for Netbooks.
I am on the look out for a new monitor, to replace my older one. With space crunch being a major handicap, I am on the look out for a widescreen 22″ display. Out of several I’ve seen including Dell’s, I am getting partial to the Samsung 223SW. With a 1920 x 1080 native resolution, this is a HD Display (HDCP via DVI).
Apart from considering whether or not I am actually going to buy this display, I am also debating the idea of seating it on the table versus wall mounting it. With built in VESA 100mm support, it’s an interesting idea I am toying with. Well, I’ll sit and ponder over this. . . . . While here are the specifications of the monitor
Screen Size 55.9cm (22)
Resolution 1920 x 1080
Contrast Ratio DC 15,000:1 (1,000:1)
Response time 5
Viewing Angle(Horizontal/Vertical) 170˚/160˚ (CR>10)
